Fashion changes, but style endures...

Short biography

Coco Chanel , or actually Gabrielle Bonheur Chanel was incredible fasion designer,
who completely had revolutionized fashion for women. She was born in 1883 in small french town. She had got a hard life. Her mother had died when she was very young, and later her father left her and her siblings. She was in orphanage 6 year.
Her career began as a cabaret singer. In 1913 she formed her first shop, where she modernized classic fashion. Her shop near Rue Cambon in Paris in short time became one of the most important fashion center in all the world.
She died in 1973 in Paris.

Interesting detail

• In 2009, Anne Fontaine created a film "Coco Chanel". French actress Audrey Tautou played Coco.
• She had never married, but she was in relationship with Prince Dimitri Romanow and later with Paul Iribe.
• Coco Chanel reportedly paid her siblings for the disappearance of her life, to hide her origin.
• Coco Chanel had removed the pregnancy, but unfortunately the result was fatal. She never could have children.
• She was addicted by drugs.
• She had got anti-semist views.
